AAIPharma adds Experienced South African Clinical Operations Team

Wilmington, N.C., November 1, 2007 -- AAIPharma Inc. announced today that it has added an experienced clinical research team based in South Africa to its growing worldwide clinical research capabilities. The new office in Johannesburg will house ten employees initially and will provide a base for the expansion of services in this region.

Whilst the presence of groups such as treatment naïve patients enables rapid and quality recruitment to ensure that we can meet the needs of our pharmaceutical and biotechnology customers, both locally and internationally”.

The extensive Phase II-IV experience within the group includes service offerings in the areas of clinical monitoring, project management and regulatory affairs as well as therapeutic expertise in the areas of oncology, cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal and anti-infectives clinical trials. As an experienced group they also have well established contacts with local physicians and extensive investigator networks.
